Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc, 2019, 90 Points
“Whitehaven's 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is more restrained than I remember previous vintages being, with the focus on a core of generous grapefruit aromas and flavors. Sure, there are hints of green herbs and passion fruit, but they're contained, composed, and the overall presentation is—dare I say it—medium-bodied and elegant.” Joe Czerwinski, The Wine Advocate, March 31, 2020

This Sauvignon Blanc is classic Marlborough, showing grapefruit on the nose and notes of gooseberry and citrus on the palate, with scintillating minerality and exceptional balance. A Platinum Award winner at the 2020 Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition.

Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc, 2017, 94 Point
From the first whiff this is obviously a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The initial impression is pungent lemon grass that give way with aeration to lovely citrus notes of lemon and lime, followed after a bit more air by gooseberry. Crisp and refreshing, it is beautifully balanced and classic New Zealand Sauvignon. A Platinum award winner at the 2018 Winemaker Challenge International Wine Competition.

Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc, 2016, 92 Points
“This is classic Marlborough Sauvignon, with all of the flashy aromatics one would expect, but no over-the-top pungency. Similarly, on the palate, there’s exciting grapefruit and lime fruit and lots of zesty acidity, but no sourness and no overtly sugary sweetness. Very well crafted in a manner that was respectful of perfectly ripened fruit. A Double Gold award winner at the 2017 Toast of the Coast Wine Competition.” Michael Franz, February 2017
